Sydcon 2007 CCG Schedule

Constructed = Open tournament with the most recent expansions only.

Open or Unrestricted = Regular Open Constructed format utilizing any expansions.

s = starter and b = boosters (as in the number you get for the sealed event)

SD = Sealed Deck, cards to be purchased on the day. Standard is RRP with a discount, see individual listings.

City of Heroes is based on the popular on-line compuer game of the same name. You take the role of a Superhuman Hero from Paragon City. You build your hero by selecting powers nad combinations of enhancements and special tactics, then test him or her against another Superhuman in Paragon's arenas. When a character's Health drops to zero, that character is defeated and that player is out of the game. The last man standing is the winner.

Horrorclix is the wickedly fun game that puts you in control of your own supernatural horror story. Packs of monsters slay victims and rescue innocents in a gore-filled romp in which Vampires, Werewolves, Ghosts, Cultists, Serial Killers, Zombies, and all the creatures of the night, battle it out to the bitter end! Duplicate your favourite teen horror movies, be you monster or victim.  All tournaments are Swiss style format, no eliminations.

Legend of the Five Rings is a game set in a medieval mythical Oriental setting, incorporating Japanese Samurai to Chinese magics and the mythology of both, in a world where honour is more important than life. Players can win in a number of ways, either by achieving a military victory and thereby eliminating the other clans, a honour victory (diplomacy) or an enlightenment victory where a clan manages to retrieve all five rings.

Upper Deck Entertainment brings the characters popular on-line game to life. In this game you control a hero in the World of Azeroth. As you play, you hero can invite allies to join your party, complete quests, finds weapons and armour and play abilities and talents directly from the World of Warcraft online game. The game draws from the rich lore of the Warcraft Universe. Two faction are battling for supremecy, the Horde and the Alliance. Each time you play, you choose a hero from one of these factions to represent you. You get to choose the cards you want to play in your deck. You decide which hero to play, which allies to invite into your party and which quest you will perform. In this game, you have total control over the power of your deck.

Not only can you play this exciting game face to face with these beautifully illustrated cards, but you may find some of the rare redemption cards. These cards can be redeemed for "loot". Each loot card is an alternate version of a regular card in the set, and when you find one in a pack it’s totally playable in regular competition.  But each will also have a scratch-off code, and that can be redeemed online for an in-game item. Prizes TBA.
